I have studied Iyengar yoga since 1993 with Portland area and nationally recognized teachers. I completed my teacher training and apprenticeship under the supervision of Julie Lawrence. While focusing on the correct alignment of each pose, I bring understanding, perception and humor to my classes.

Most of us do not take time to relax which would give our minds and bodies a chance to restore. We work, work, work until exhausted which creates disease in our bodies. This can lead to other health problems, both physical and mental. In each class we will go through a sequence of poses, taking the time to learn which are best for us, how to support ourselves in each pose, how to modify poses as needed.
Classes are for those with a minimum of 6 months of yoga instruction.
